Leukaemia and Blood Cancer (LBC) NZ \u2013 Blood Cancer Forum<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n
Leukaemia and Blood Cancer (LBC) NZ is holding a conference\/forum in Christchurch, at Rydges Latimar Hotel, starting Friday evening, 3 September, with talks, drinks, and dinner. Then all day Saturday 4 September is the main part of the conference, with talks covering all the main areas of leukaemia and blood cancer, including CLL. It is planned to have a lunchtime meeting for CLLANZ attendees over lunch on the Saturday. They are expecting about 150 registrants, and there are very good speakers, including Professor Peter Browett, and Dr Rob Weinkove, who both spoke at last October\u2019s CLLANZ\/LBC seminar on CLL, held in Auckland and via Zoom to the rest of the country. Could those Friends of CLLANZ who live in or around Christchurch make email or text contact with me if they intend going to this forum.<\/span><\/div>\n

CLLAN Horizons Conference<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

5 -7 November<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

CLLAN, the group coordinating CLL patient support groups globally, is having their annual conference (on line this year) on 5 \u2013 7 November. I went to their 2019 conference in Edinburgh, and it was excellent. I recommend that you check out their website – the meeting is called \u201cCLL Horizons\u201d – info@clladvocates.net, and consider attending. The meeting is all about CLL, and addressed by world leaders on the disease.\u00a0https:\/\/www.clladvocates.net\/program\/cll-horizons\/<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n
