CLL Advocates NZ called for the Government to approve additional budget for Pharmac to fund ibrutinib and venetoclax at international guidelines, to allow patients with aggressive Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) to remain alive and well. We received 1,041 signatures.
Submissions
Our submission to the independent Panel set up by the Government to review Pharmac. For the purposes of this submission we have chosen to focus on ibrutinib, the longest awaited and most sorely needed treatment for NZ CLL patients.
Dr Neil Graham presented to the Health Select Committee on 7 August 2019 to support the submission calling for the Select Committee to strongly recommend funding of two life-saving treatments.
